This course provides an introduction to geology, and is a core curriculum requirement for all Geosciences majors and minors. The students will be introduced to scientific methodologies, and will utilize observations to interpret the dynamic processes operating at the Earth’s surface and within the Earth’s interior. The course will also illustrate that Geosciences unites biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics to gain a better understanding of Earth processes.
